Audrey jumped up after hearing a loud thud coming from the lobby. Birds fly into the windows from time to time. Sometimes they get knocked out, and sometimes worse. So Audrey looked around and got GeorgeAnne’s attention and they found a Yellow-breasted Chat (I’m not a birder, so if someone can confirm, that’d be great) on the ground with its eyes closed and a wing cocked out. Thinking the worst, they looked closer and saw his chest moving. GA grabbed a dish of water and she a...nd Audrey went into rescue mode. After lightly massaging the bird for a little while, he opened his eyes. And after a few minutes more, he stood up and perched on her finger, readjusted his wings and had a sip of water before carrying on with life.
