FINALLY ...had a beautiful day to move some furniture to the new residence/home at Hope Harbor. We found some GREAT help that was out of school and not at work. THANK YOU guys for not complaining one time and letting Pops be Boss. We love you more than you know!

Needing some good news today? These kind people have volunteered their money and time to put a new roof on the guest house at Hope Harbor. (In the cold and windy GA weather may I add) Over the years many families have enjoyed staying here on the property to enjoy graduations, family days and other special occasions for the ladies at Hope Harbor. We are extremely grateful for their selflessness and labor of love to continue this special ministry. God bless ALL of you that have been a part of making a way for young ladies to find their way out of a life of addiction.

I received this from a student that graduated Hope Harbor several years ago. She asked to please pass it along to help family members understand the struggle of addiction. Her life is good...she says and she would love for other ladies to have the same opportunity to a path of recovery that Hope Harbor gave her. Hope Harbor is here to help I know about addiction far too well for it has impacted my life and that of my family and friends. My biggest pet peeve is when people s...ay "you had a perfect life, how could you mess it up like this over alcohol or drugs" or "if you want help you should just ask" or "We've already been down this road before and that it didn't work last time..." addiction literally consumes your soul and it's all you can think about! No one wakes up one day and says I want to be an alcoholic,or addicted to heroin,cocaine, opiates,or meth for the rest of my life... So today more than ever, I pray for the healing of addiction for all that are still struggling. There's a personal reason for asking everyone to put this message on their status for at least 1 hour. I know who'll do it! Think of someone you love who has had an addiction or who is trying to fight this evil whether winning or losing. Psalm 118:23 says "This is from the LORD; it is marvelous in our sight." The new building at Hope Harbor will soon be called home by young ladies overcoming addiction by the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. The Lord has truly done a marvelous job constructing this home and we were thrilled to share it with everyone at Open House. THANK YOU for partnering with us.
