HTP J-1 Visa Programs

What does the John F. Kennedy Presidential Memorial Library and Museum have to do with cultural exchange programs? Well actually, the building was designed by one of the most prominent architects in the world, I.M. Pei, who came to the US as a teenager through the Exchange Visitor Program. Pei has designed other famous buildings including the Mesa Laboratory, Dallas City Hall, National Gallery East Building, Javits Convention Center, and many more. Pei is another testament to the influence and impact that exchange programs have had on our history, society, and culture in the US.

History was made on Saturday as NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and SpaceX launched humans into space from American soil for the first time since 2011. It was SpaceX's first ever crewed mission. A historic feat for a private company, led by founder and CEO, Elon Musk. Did you know that Musk's path to technological innovation and space exploration based in the US began with a student cultural exchange program when he attended the University of Pennsylvani...a as a young student? The value of exchange programs, whether students, interns, and others cannot be overstated. We are grateful that these programs allow the brightest minds in the world to come to the US to pursue their intellectual curiosities and grow their professional careers. The outcome from these programs result in bright exchange visitors changing the world.
