Our TouchPoint dietitians received recognition from Adam Macock, President & CEO of AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center Hinsdale & La Grange. In his spring letter, Mr. Macock acknowledged our associates' daily commitment to taking care of and providing support to patients. Our TouchPoint dietitians are greatly appreciated and we are so glad our team got to celebrate their accomplishments on RDN day.

To close out the #NationalNutritionMonth celebrations, we're shinning a spotlight on one last TouchPoint dietitian to get a helpful nutrition tip from the team. Meet Sherry Hamilton, System Clinical Nutrition Manager at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital! Sherry's advice: "Covering many rural facilities, we work with many patients who are very low income and we often hear how they can’t afford to eat healthy. I love teaching a class focused on eating health on a budget showcasing how easy it truly can be. One tip that I share is to eat with the seasons and to incorporate frozen vegetables when fresh vegetables are out of the budget."

June Shipman's story began in 1970 when she took a position at Ascension Via Christi in Pittsburg, KS to help raise her children. 50 years later she is now celebrating a half-century of service! She is the true definition of showing compassion at every point of human contact and we could not be more proud of her dedication and service. Thank you and congratulations June!

Our #TouchPointHeroes have truly been the rock for all of our ministries during this pandemic. The EVS team at AMITA Health St. Alexius Medical Center Hoffman Estates along with all departments got to show their creativity in helping to build a rock garden for their "rocks" throughout this pandemic!

It's always so incredible to see the compassion our associates have for one another. After Hurricane Sally left many associates with damage to their homes and vehicles, fellow associates in Florida came to the rescue forming their own Hurricane Sally Relief Team. A special shout out to Cliff Dufrian, Enver Stermilli, Marquis Smith, James Vanwhy, Jean luc Lamounette, Terry Clayton and Tina Carmichael for all of their help!
