Yesterday, a huge spider came trotting across my spa room like it owned the damn place. My friend noticed it and offered to kill it, but that little soldier was just a messenger. So I saved it, wished it peace and sent it on it’s way. (I hate spiders btw). I kept trying to figure out what it meant, since spiders signify creativity and communication. Then on the way to check on the boys, my animal medicine cards kind of flew off the bedroom cabinet towards Allan. But we were... both there. I knew it was a sign. Those cards have always resonated with me and I haven’t used them in a long time. Letting life get in the way I guess. Anyways, my cards reaffirmed some things that I have been quietly thinking. First meal after my cleanse! I was able to eat the taco and 10 sips of soup. I still feel great! I lost about 12 lbs of bloat and now that I’m eating, I’ll start adding some light exercise. I’m still doing Intermittent fasting. On Monday, I’ll do another 3 day juice cleanse. Going to do this the right way. Finally got my hair done!! It felt good to take care of me today. I am also going to be trying something that I think will help me kick start some better food habits and weight loss. I feel amazing after juicing and I think I want to try three days a week EVERY week. I was told about a local place and I’m picking up n fresh juice on Thursday. I know it sounds extreme, but it really isn’t. A year ago today we visited Callanish in Isle of Lewis and then drove to Mangersta Beach. It was a journey to the Outer Hebrides that I will never forget. It was the beginning of an internal shift in my consciousness that showed me the power of manifestation & the power of pure gratitude. It was like being home in a way. Sharing it with my family was a true blessing. Yes, the beach was freezing, but we were buzzing and the pure shine of the sun as well as our excitement, was enough to warm our hearts. Ok so it’s been about two weeks since the juice cleanse. It actually gave me the motivation I needed to start doing Intermittent fasting, so I have been fasting for 16 hours and giving myself an 8 hour window to eat. I am trying to stay away from breads, and just being more mindful of what I eat. It’s not perfect... I am just starting after all, but it’s a start. We ordered chick fil a catering yesterday and I used the left over fruits to make a yogurt bowl for breakfast. H...onestly, I’ll probably order tenders and salad and fruit once a week so we have food ready after working. I notice that I need some easy things or I’m drawn towards the easy and not booty friendly options. Slowly losing about 1-2 pounds a week. Started my Peloton again today (aiming for 2x a week) and ordered a new yoga mat so I can begin finding my balance again. Also, I am starting to follow Wim Hof to really incorporate an almost spiritual aspect to this journey.
