We are trying to put together a way to continue to fill in the gaps left by so many insurance providers and Obamacare, and allow people who need and deserve healthcare to have it whether they can afford it or not. The $60 initial visit (full physical, X-ray, bloodwork and EKG) is the beginning. But that ain't all we have in mind. Our office is usually closed on Fridays, but we'd like to choose one Friday a month, and start getting them booked with the cash patients, the tit...hing patients, the bartering patients.... I just got back from the ER where Pat and her daughter were rushed after a terrible car accident a few hours ago. Pat has been released but she has glass in her head and contusions on her face and leg, Deidre had a more severe laceration on her forehead and a cut and broken finger. Ludie and Jailen who were also in the car are shaken up but ok. When I got the call I ran outside and the ambulance had just arrived. Pat was on a backboard and was rushed to a CT scan because they... feared she had internal injuries. It was terrifying to see someone you love so much hurting, and theres nothing you can do. There is no one but God to thank that their injuries were as minimal as they were. They are going to be hurting and healing for a good while, and as part of our family, we ask for all the good thoughts and prayers you might have to spare be sent their way.

We learned today that our med student Brianna is a match for our front desk manager Ken, who has been on a waiting list for a new kidney for over a year. So what a blessed office we are. At 26, Ken has undergone dialysis 3 times a week since 2012, and now the road to recovery is a hop, skip and a jump away!
