A few folks have asked me if I still have knitting needles and I do, so I thought I would throw it out there to you all that there are still quite a few different Knitter's Pride and Chiaogoo needles and crochet hooks in case you need some. You can use the coupon code YTOOLS for 30% off to offset the shipping charge on the website. https://www.intownquilters.com//Notions-a/Yarn-Notions.htm
Since I’ve decided to keep the website going for awhile, I am going to bring in just a few bundles of things for the fun of it, soooo....there are some bundles up for preorder now. There are several grunge bundles and Ombre Fairy Dust and a few other fun things we like. Check out Preorders page on the website!
Do you need holiday themed masks? Stacy Iest Hsu has come out with a fun new holiday themed mask panel after her first Safety First panel was such a huge success. I only ordered a few (because I wanted some!) so grab yours on PREORDER now before they arrive later this month! I have not really committed to selling online but there are several things on order that I am committed to bringing in so you will see some things available for online purchase, like this fun mask panel. https://www.intownquilters.com/shop/Fabric/Preorders.htm
I’ve been playing around with my fabric stash today and realize I want to share some of it with anyone who needs some #kaffefassettcollective added to their #fabricstash Here are a #jeweltones and #pasteltones #fatquarterbundle that I have two each of listed on the fat quarter bundle page of the website. I’ll create a waiting list for them so you all can let me know if I should buy more fabric to make more of them.
Repost from @decaturmakers Social Justice & Textile Art for Youth and Families: Online Workshop with Sara Trail of @sjsacademy Social Justice Sewing Academy (SJSA) Activism through art! Have something to say, need some help saying it? This event will focus on youth ages 12-18 and their families.... Join us in building a collaborative quilt project hosted by Decatur Makers and SJSA. Live via Zoom on Saturday, November 7th, Sara Trail of SJSA, will lead us in learning about social justice issues, engage us in meaningful conversation, and inspire us to use textile art to communicate our ideas in fabric. No experience necessary. Tickets are $5 for three sessions and kit of materials. We're also taking donations to give tickets to youth in need. Click here for more info and to sign up your kid and/or family: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/social-justice-sewing-academy-
Our first order of #tulapinklinework (due later this week) sold out in 24 hours so we placed another order but that one won’t arrive until the end of November. The pre-orders are already coming in since I sent a newsletter out so don’t wait!
