Congratulations to Dwayne Peal with Irwin County Hospital. Dwayne was voted by his peers as the DIAMOND of the hospital. This past year, ICH has celebrated the GEMs (Going the Extra Mile) of the facility, with the culmination of crowning the DIAMOND last night! CEO Paige Wynn presented the award. Great job, Dwayne! We are so thankful for our Auxiliary! Each month they provide tray favors for our patients and nursing home residents. Look at these cute valentine bags these ladies made for February!

Words can't describe how much this man has meant to Irwin County Hospital and Palemon Gaskins Nursing Home. Last night, our CEO Paige Wynn presented Authority Board member Joey Whitely with a plaque for 28 years of service to the hospital authority. Joey has faithfully served and been a strong advocate for us over those 28 years. He is retiring from public service and plans to spend more time with his family. Thank you, Joey, for your service. We appreciate you and what you've done for us!!

Wow!! Just Wow!! We are so thankful to the Irwin County High School Ambassadors for their donation to our residents at Palemon Gaskins Nursing Home today. They collected blankets, hygiene items, snacks and candy, word search puzzles, and many other items and delivered everything to the nursing home. Our residents are going to be so excited when they see what was brought! We love our community and greatly appreciate all that is being done for our folks!

After working one shift after coming out of quarantine, Clyde the elf is exhausted. He made a bed under the tree.

Thank you to Casey, Ashley, Owen, and Brooks Griffin for donating the Christmas tree for Palemon Gaskins Nursing Home. Their donation was made in memory of Matthew Hunter. Matthew was a dear friend of theirs and was also a resident at the nursing home. Thank you for such a sweet gesture for our folks. They are definitely enjoying their tree.

Thank you to two 3rd grade teachers and their classes who shared snacks with our nursing home residents. Our folks were excited!!!
