Ivy Wall Drive-In Theater

How do we feel about a Halloween feature? It's been a long, exhausting year. Unfortunately, the virus is ramping up worse than ever. I'd really like to do a triple feature, but I'd like to know how everyone feels about staying safe during the feature. If you've been to an event, you'll know the best experience is coming out and hanging out in the 10x10 foot seating area. We have chairs to spread out and the upper deck, but I don't want to enforce more than people are willing to do themselves. So ya, what do you guys think?

After much thought, we've decided not to open up for the foreseeable future. There's simply too much at stake to risk reopening. Once there's a vaccine and proper handling of this pandemic, we'll probably start up again. Until then, we just don't have the means to keep everyone safe. It's just a house, after all. Sure, it'd be nice to watch movies on the big screen from the safety of our cars, but it's all the little things that make the drive-in worthwhile that we're lacking. Restrooms, the ability to walk around, reliable ways to limit to 10 people. It's just not feasible. Hope to see you sooner rather than later =) And for all you scientists out there, GO KICK SOME ASS! Be the hero all those B-movies made you out to be =)

Alright, tonight at 8 we'll be live on Twitch, making fun of some Outer Limits episodes. We have direct video now with audio overtop, so the quality should be on point. Alright, the livestreaming every day thing is a bit pie in the sky. If anything, I get bored talking to myself. We'll be working on doing a direct video with me and some friends talking over it and should have it up and running on Saturdays til April 30th. Might have to be on a different site(Youtube or Twitch), so I'll post the link before showtime.

Alright, we've got our second Outer Limits livestream posted in the video section! Spoilers: my cat brought in a mouse in the episode break. Real question: Is the livestream worth it? Not seeing many viewers, but I enjoy doing it. Hopefully the quality's good enough, they're out of cams at Best Buy.

Alright, new plan. It's a long shot, but I want to see if I can find someone to do an mst3k style riff show with me on Saturdays at 8. Public domain movies, no rehearsals. Crazy. Crazy fun! This job pays beer and cigarettes. Anyone in/around Dacula up for it?

Well. Welly welly well. Seems livestreaming movies might not be a great plan. Our stream got taken down 3 times. I thought it was a technical issue, but no dice. It could be that Children of Men is too new, but I'd rather not risk getting all this shut down. Old saying: If you're stung by a bee, don't kick the hive.... We'll see if we can open up normally in a few weeks. Just have to take precautions.
