Jack's New Yorker Deli is currently looking for an experienced Line Cook for our Buckhead location. We are a fast-casual restaurant serving all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner in a fast-paced environment. Our busy kitchen demands attention to detail along with great team work and communication. We offer competitive hourly wage, employee meal program, plus other incentives. Must have a minimum of 1 years of kitchen experience including: Kitchen Prep: Slicing meats, cutting pr...oduce, and following basic recipes Ability to memorize extensive menu and following our cooking procedures Experience cooking breakfast is a plus. Follow proper food storage guidelines and food safety procedures (Certification a plus) Experience with cleaning and maintaining kitchen and equipment Team oriented and hard working with strong communications skills. MUST be available to work WEEKENDS (7:45am - 4pm) along with availability weekday mornings (7:45am - 3pm)... shift start times vary. Self-motivated, ability to work with limited supervision and keep kitchen clean Must be dependable with reliable transportation to arrive by on time! Hours of Operation are MonFri: 8am to 9pm, and Sat-Sun: 8am to 4pm . Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Pay: $10.00 - $13.75 per hour

OUR MISSION: Jack's New Yorker Deli - Buckhead is focused on feeding those in need. Our goal is to raise 15-20 boxed meals per week to feed those impacted by COVID-19, including Front-Line Healthcare workers, Assisted Living Facility employees, and the hungry that can't afford a fresh meal. Since the beginning of COVID, Jack's NY Deli Buckhead location ...has donated over 550 meals to healthcare and front-line workers, and an additional 250 meals through our corporate partners, like @Calendly, to homeless shelters around Atlanta. Help us continue this effort and support our community! We accept recommendations for donations to healthcare facilities or charitable organizations that are important to you! Our first goal is to raise 150+ meals for Northside Hospital’s Cancer Unit. The great work they have done during this pandemic has directly impacted some of our loyal customers. See more
