Hello Yall. It has been a long time since I have posted here. Much going on but with all that is going on I have still preached every Sunday. Some of you may or may not know my cancer after being surgically removed started to grow again and has continued to grow. It has metastasized but slowed down for a moment. Hi Yall. It has been a while since my last post. But I have some mixed blessings to share. Most of yall know I have been dealing with cancer. It takes it's toll... emotionally, mentally and physically. I just received my results from the test I take every 3 months. After having results that had my doubling time every 3 and 1 half months my psa results stayed the same at 0.4 from September. Right now that means the cancer has not metastasized in my body. It just has to reach .5 for proof of metastasis to have taken place and at 1.0 for the cancer metastasizing to the bones. It appears I have a reprieve. How long this will last I do not know. This biggest change I have made since September is tea I have made to drink and a salad I have made to eat. There is no way for me to count the number of Christians praying for me or the number of prayers for that matter. But I do say thank you. I still do not know how long this standstill in psa count will last. But I am thankful for all my brothers and sisters in Christ for the prayers they have sent on my behalf. Good evening Yall. On our vacation we visited the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in Kentucky. They were both great. If any of yall get the chance go visit these museums. But back at home I spoke to the radiation doctor today. I am taking more test and considering radiation. I could use the prayers for my decision. Thank Yall. Yall have a great week.

Good afternoon Yall. It has been a while. I just got back from vacation. Much thanks to my brothers and sisters at JCC for the time off. I visited one of my old Bible colleges on my trip. It is now located in Wytheville Virginia. When I attended it was in Bluefield West Virginia. This was Bluefield College of Evangelism. The College is now housed in Crossroads Church of Christ. I worshipped with them one Sunday. It was nice to see BCE again.

Evening Yall. Just an update. Another cancer check up. My numbers are doubling about every 3 or 4 months. Not a good thing. Keep me on your prayer list. Yall have a great week and we will see yall Sunday.

Good Morning Yall. I know it has been awhile. My body is still on this side of the grass. As for Sundays, church and sermons they have been going forward despite the summer slump. We are about to finish the book of Matthew. We have been looking at the versus about Jesus's return. Only our Father in Heaven knows the time. Not even Jesus himself knows the time. We are told through the Word to be ready regardless of the time. That readiness is a continuation of the changed heart.... The heart that worships God and loves God with all of ones mind, body and strength and love their neighbor as they love their self. Our job as Christians is to love one another the way God and his son loves us. Knowing when Jesus returns with judgement makes no difference in our salvation. The fact that Jesus will return is the difference. Trying to put God, Jesus and Jesus's return inside a time box, era or dispensation if you will is not important. Putting Jesus's return in a time box even takes away from our true endeavor as Christians. We are taught to examine ourselves before we take communion. It would behoove us to examine ourselves daily....making sure what we do every day is for the glory of God. Yall have a great week. See more

Evening Yall...just an update....I had another PSA test done. It went from .2 to .3. It did not double but it is still not good. I could use some prayers. Thank yall.

Good Morning Yall. We had a great Sunday this past Sunday. Glad to see all the faces there. Glad to see all the saints there. The sermon was on the two sons...no...not the prodigal son. Just Jesus trying to get the leadership in the Synagogues to understand God's love. They always acted if they would do God's will but mostly they thought their own set of rules were better. As we finish this week look for those fellow Christians who are struggling with the daily toils of this world and find a way to lift them up just starting with prayer. Yall have a great week.

Thank yall for your prayers . Test results...my cancer has not spread to my bones. Right now the cancer is so small in my body it's location cannot be detected. More waiting on the next test.
