Power has been restored to the Commerce Early Voting site. It will be open for voting from 11AM-5PM

We are asking all citizens to be careful and stay off the roads until 10 am this morning unless your travel is essential. Multiple trees are down all around the county and being cleared.

Power has been restored to the Commerce Satellite Voting Location. If there are no further power interruptions they will resume operations at 11am and be open until 5pm.

The Commerce Satellite Voting Location is closed until further notice because of power outages for 10/29/2020. Early voting in person continues at the Gordon Street Center in Jefferson and the Braselton Police and Municipal Building.

We have extended our 'History of Voting in Jackson County' exhibit to include a display on the Women's Suffrage Movement. This display case is on our second flo...or as you exit the elevator. It includes photos, memorabilia, and original art by Carol Tanner and Susan Gwaltney from Hoschton, GA. Viewing hours are Mon - Sat 10am - 3pm.
