GOT GRASS?!?.......The JLM Maintenance Division just received our new fleet of John Deere Zero Turn mowers. Our maintenance crews mow over 300 Acres of Grass on a weekly basis. When it comes to sod prep JLM had skid steers and mini skid steers with tillers, harley rakes, 4 in 1 buckets and land plane implements .... however on certain projects you just can’t beat the fine grade you get with a basic farm tractor and box blade!! this 9000 ft. of Zenith Zoysia laid out just beautifully!.............. #sodprep #finegrading #johndeeretractor #zenithzoysia #jacobslandmanagement

It’s irrigation sleeving install day at Augusta University Pediatrics and Adult Services and Augusta Cheer Academy....Typically you would think of the Landscape Contractor as being the last trade on the job but the irrigation sleeving is installed as soon as subgrade is established and the curb and gutter is surveyed and staked. Despite the rain and the extreme heat it was a very productive week for the Install Division of JLM. Jacobs Land Management recently completed the Landscape Enhancements at the Performing Arts Theatre at Augusta University Summerville Campus. The work consisted of demo of existing landscape and concrete sidewalks and the Installation of new plants, trees, irrigation, drainage, concrete sidewalks and brick columns. The heavy rains slowed progress a bit but it did not affect the quality and final outcome of the project. We are thankful for the opportunity to work with Augusta University on this beautification project.

Jacobs Land Management was recently awarded the Landscape Maintenance contract for 8 Middle Schools in Richmond County GA. Along with the Elementary Schools already being maintained by JLM, this brings the total to 40 Richmond County Schools. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with the Richmond County Board of Education and the residents of Richmond County.

Jacobs Land Management was recently awarded the Irrigation and Landscape Installation contract for the new Augusta University College of Science and Mathematics Building. The 125,000 sf interdisciplinary building will be located on the downtown Augusta Health Sciences Campus. Jacobs Land Management was recently awarded the landscape maintenance contract for medians along Broad Street, East Boundry and Green Street in Augusta, Ga. The area encompasses approximately 26 blocks of the Garden City.
