A little porch roof I've been building. They're pretty much done now except for the installation. There's actually two of them that are almost identical. I didn...'t push the pendants all the way in because they lock the joint together and fit very tight. I didn't feel like trying to wrestle them back out. It's mostly joined together with the exception of a few timber lock screws to hold the rafters on. I'll use some timber locks and carriage bolts to mount them and cover the fasteners with some decorative wooden covers. See more

I built this a while back for some people that are close to me. It was around 40 hours of work on short notice but I got it done just in time. It was 26 hours straight on the last stretch. It's all antique heart pine.

The grandest of all Carpentry Master Pieces!! (the photo in black and white) Built for the exposition of 1900 where it won the highest reward. For some, this pi...ece is THE pinnacle of all carpentry where it resolves all possible problems in one piece. It took a team of Compagnon carpenters years and years to complete. This specific one took a couple years to conceptualize and design. Then a couple more to complete the drawings then approximately seven years to build. There were three main carpenters who saw the project from beginning to end. Here are a few photos of the three grand master pieces located at the Federation Guild in Paris. These grand master pieces were used to compete against rivaling guilds and factions to win a towns work in carpentry. To win all the carpentry work in a town for ten years means a lot. That's why these pieces were taken very seriously and the guild would only hired its best members. These pieces currently reside at the Hall of Master Pieces of the Federation guild located at 161 Avenue Jean Jaurès, Paris, France. Anna Martin of Syracuse Green Housing: When Jeremy Moir is asked to install an antique heat resister into a Victorian house and it doesn’t quite fit he can’t bring himself to simply shim it and put small pieces of wood trim around it. He is forever and always absolutely compelled to make the project become beautiful, captivating, durable and a source of joy each time someone lays eyes upon it. https://www.facebook.com/107200342674349/posts/2640734779320880?sfns=mo
