Landscape Project: A Testimonial; During the summer of 2019 working with young men from Jericho House we completed a major landscaping project on our property in Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia. The project included building structural timber walls, placing, spreading, and packing fill dirt, and gravel. The end result of this project included a gravel drive way 240 feet long X 11 feet wide winding through a hilly wooded area. 140 feet of the driveway required timbers to be cut to s...ize, dug in, stacked and tied together with timber bolts (some as high as 48 inches). A list of some of the main components includes: 1. 140 6 inch X 6 inch X 10 feet timbers 2. 40,000 lbs. of fill dirt 3. 60,000 lbs. of gravel 4. 250 timber bolts 5. 40 - 18-24 inch X 12 inch rebar Some of the notable aspects of work performed by the men included: 1. Timber Construction: Trenching for timber walls, cutting timbers for walls, placing timbers in walls and attaching timbers to each other. 2. Road Work: Raking fill dirt, packing fill dirt with motorized road packer. 3. Gravel: Shoveling, raking, and leveling gravel to ensure smooth finished roadbed. The Jericho House Team was extremely professional and easy to work with. They were polite, attentive to detail, and very respectful of the need for quality workmanship. I would strongly recommend this group for home projects requiring semi-skilled labor. Attached are photos to illustrate the breadth and depth of work performed by this team. Russell Mobley
