Has the Funeral Director you trusted been honest with you? Here are a few questions we get very often and most are to get more money from you. That casket doesn’t fit in that vault, right? Wrong! All standard size caskets fit in any adult vault. ... My loved one purchased a burial policy with another funeral home. I have to use that funeral home, right? Wrong! The funeral homes don’t own your policy. You own your policy and have the right to use it where you want. The burial policy my loved one purchased years ago isn’t enough anymore, right? Depends. Most burial policy’s grow with time. Very few don’t grow. So that policy may be worth more than you’ve been told. You can’t change your cost because the state regulates it, right? Wrong! As the owner of a funeral home we choose our own prices and can discount them to better help you pay for your loved ones service. No one regulates our prices but the owner. Don’t be fooled by what you’re being told. If it doesn’t sound right, it probably isn’t. Several Funeral Directors know it’s more than likely your first time in the arrangement office and will pull a fast one on you to make more money. Always ask questions and if necessary get a second opinion. We are here to answer any of your questions you may have. Regardless of how silly it may sound to you, we consider all questions a potential to teach. Give us a call or stop by. 912-384-0019

When you’re done with them please bring them back. The only thing the camera didn’t catch is your name. But we don’t need to know that if you bring them back.

3 Truths About Grief: 1) Grief is personal. You will never find two with the same grief journey, so don't compare yours to others.... 2) Grief is not a linear journey. Some days you may feel okay, other days fearful, and other days 5 feelings at once. Try to handle emotions with patience. 3) Grief is natural. You may feel like you are losing your mind but in fact grief is a natural reaction to loss. Not only does it affect you mentally but it comes with physical symptoms as well. Practice self-care!
