About our staff: - Karen Torgesen, our newest staff member will be taking care of our front- office. She will likely be the one to answer your calls or greet you when you drop by during the year. She is always happy to help. - Michelle Whitfield-Adams is a valuable part of our bookkeeping team. Among her many talents, she has taken on our QuickBooks Desktop and Online clients. She will post and reconcile monthly expenses as well as process your Paychecks and Payroll Tax paym...ents. You will love her friendly touch. - Misty Vanderhorst will be writing Paychecks, process Direct Deposits, scheduling and filing Payroll Taxes and Sales Tax. She also makes sure that all required forms are done properly on your behalf. We appreciate her accurate care for our clients and you will too! - Lisa Frost, as our Office Manager, Lisa oversees the Monthly and Quarterly bookkeeping while keeping us on the cutting edge of information and solutions to today’s issues. She has also joined Joy as a tax preparer. With her bookkeeping knowledge, we know this makes her an all-around help to our clients. - Joy Ward, owner and operator, has over 35 years of accounting and tax experience that is available for your benefit. In addition to filing complex corporate and personal taxes, she helps with business and tax planning, while keeping an eye on your business health. Come in OR drop off. We are trying to keep traffic minimal, however we do understand that sometimes you have circumstances that may require a face to face appointment, and are allowing clients in house. We do ask you to be mindful, if you are sick, or have any Covid symptoms to please drop-off from the covered porch. If you would like to remain outside, we do have a secured drop-box available. Your safety and business are our top priority. We appreciate you, and look forward to taking care of your tax preparation/accounting needs.

The tax extension deadline of July 15th is quickly approaching. If you haven't dropped off your tax return information please do so as soon as possible to avoid the last minute crunch. Our office has opened back up, the door is open and we welcome you; if you do not feel comfortable coming in, we do have a table set up on the front porch along with a drop off box so you do not have to come in. We strive to keep our clients happy and healthy.

FRAUD ALERT Phone calls are already coming into the office that people are receiving text messages and phone calls, saying your stimulus check has been deposited and to go onto a website to verify your information. Please DO NOT, these could be scams. If you normally receive your income tax returns through direct deposit, that is how you will receive your stimulus check. To find out if your check has been deposited, please check your bank account. (Please know the bank systems are bogged down at the moment and several are currently offline, please be patient.) For others who receive their return through the mail with a check, we will let you know when the portal is ready to upload your bank information so that you may receive your check through direct deposit; we will provide the correct link for you to go onto.
