In 2018, US household credit card debt hit a new record. It is odd that unemployment rate has been continuously on a downward trend in the recent years but the average household credit card debt has actually increased. I’m sure most people carry at least 3-4 credit cards in their wallet, if not more and that’s probably not even counting other store brand cards at places where they shop often. But how many of them are actually paying off the entire balance on those cards each ...month? And how much interest charges are they accruing on those outstanding balances?
