When should I book my newborn session? I suggest booking before baby arrives, in the second or third trimester. This doesn’t mean you’re scheduling an exact date, because babies usually come when they want and there’s no way to really say for sure...but it’s just guaranteeing you a spot on my calendar. ... In the past, I’ve hardly ever turned away a new mom who came to me when baby was already here. I squeeze them in. But one of my 2021 goals is to not overbook myself so I can enjoy family time AND have quicker turnarounds for those galleries you’re all so eager to see. With that, I have room for three more February babies and three more March babies.

An oldie, but a goodie. This is still one of my top fave sessions. And I have room on my calendar for THREE of these in February. ... Bring your lover and grab your fave drink, and let me capture all the snuggles.

Last year we teamed up with Shepherd Ever After for these simple minis and we are debating on bringing them back again for 2021! But YOUR voice matters!! Would you guys want to see these again or a Valentine’s Mini?

I really try not to brag on Ben too much, well, because I don’t wanna be that wife... And I also don’t need him getting the big head. But today, today he seriously out did himself. ... From greeting me with my water bottle (because no coffee or caffeine right now) first thing when I woke up to washing, drying, and putting away ALL of the laundry. Then assisting me (and pulling a muscle doing so) load mama sheep on the trailer away from baby for a few minis this afternoon. Which then resulted to him having to hose off the trailer in the freezing wind. He’s almost always up for my shenanigans, on top of helping keep me hydrated and clothed. And sometimes, sometimes I need to brag so he can know he’s appreciated. And to remind me of days like today when he leaves the dishwasher open for me to unload. It’s the first Monday of 2021! Changes are happening over at KJP, and I’m so ready for what this year has in store, in both my business and personal world! One changeI’m going to enjoy Sundays OFF in 2021. ... Sometimes it’s going to be inevitable. And I’ll have the occasional session due to weather or timing being crucial with schedules. But it’s going to be rare. Sundays are for Jesus and coffee, right? Mostly, I’m doing this for me (and maybe the hubs, too). What’s something you’re doing for you in 2021?
