Kennesaw Archery Club

Good wet morning...and probably most of the week. This is a reminder for the 12 students who have signed up for our Sunday, 2/21 beginner orientation: * location is Boots Ward Rec Center at Lost Mountain Park on Dallas Highway... * Class signin is at 12:30. If the student is a minor an adult must be present to sign the waivers * Cash, check or CC using Square (small fee will be added by Square) * Cobb County requires a mask to be worn inside the building so please bring one * Class begins at 1pm with information about archery safety, shooting form, and the sport. Equipment will be sized according to the student then is followed by 1 hour of coached shooting. * If you are able, you are also invited to free-shoot with the club at our 4-6pm session...more shooting and practice time!!! See you all there! I will be posting a signup link for the March orientation next week. Again only 12 students so signup as soon as you see the link...class usually fills up within 48 hours!!!!!

WAY TO GO KAC 4-H archers!!! KAC 4-H archers participated in the State Virtual Indoor tournament Jan 24th and did very well! Medals are given to 5th place. ...and it's gone! Cobb County Project Manager said, weather permitting, the trees should be down and slab poured next week.

Still time to register! The Georgia Archery Association will be hosting the GAA Indoor State and JOAD Indoor Championships on February 20 & 21. Note these are 2 separate events that are held at the same time. The 52nd USA Archery Indoor Nationals and 2021 JOAD Indoor Nationals, is being hosted at state championships events to keep archers safer and closer to home.
