#testimonialtuesday NEVER judge a book by its cover. Approximately over 3 years ago I got laid off from my corporate job. I will never forget that week - it was the week of my birthday in November & at my birthday dinner in my hometown of S. Florida @emmittcombs said u have a great personality, would u consider becoming a Realtor? I immediately said Yes (mind you I was 2 martinis in ). So that VERY next day I went online & signed up for the RE course here in #atlan...ta . The only person knew was my husband @kellytaxes . I didn’t tell a soul, because even ppl closest to u can discourage u unknowingly. And they can only see things from their perspective when giving opinions. So my new #mission was to have tunnel vision & pass this course. Upon arrival on the first day of class our instructor asked us to introduce ourselves & tell our story. When my turn came I promptly introduced myself to him & told him I DO NOT have a BACK-UP plan so this is IT & going back to the corporate world wasn’t option at that point. I wanted to be in control of MY destiny! So fast forward I passed the exam the first time, as giving up wasn’t an option! Now being a Realtor isn’t the most glamorous career, but it’s the Best! Best! Best! Decision for KIMBERLY & I can’t Thank @emmittcombs for listening to my sis @jamericandelight & planting that seed! I’m FOREVER #grateful ! WTBS if you’re on the fence about anything?? Just Do It! Just Do It! Pray to God 2 help you with ur fears, procrastination, overthinking & keep pushing forward! Has being a #realtor been easy Hell No ! There have been many bumps along this road, but I’ve decided to ONLY process them as lessons learned . Is my game 100% ? NOPE But, I can tell you that I’m not scared to get my knees scraped up - learn more & will ALWAYS get back up There hasn’t been a year that I have not exceed every #financialgoals l’ve set out to accomplish.
