Please share with friends and family and help get this pup back to his home. He escaped out of his back yard. Just spoke with Mom and she is devastated that the person who has the dog won't give the dog back. Please share with everyone you know. Thank you.
THESE BABIES HAVE FOUND THEIR FOREVER HOME. THEY WILL HAVE TWO HUMAN SIBLINGS AND A MOM AND DAD TO LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM. THEY WILL BE A BIG PART OF THEIR FA...MILY AND WILL ALWAYS LIVE INSIDE. I AM SO HAPPY FOR ALL OF THEM!!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SHARED THE POST AND HAD INTEREST IN THEM! These two yorkies need to be rehomed asap. They are 7 years old and need to stay together. They used to live inside and are potty trained. They are UTD on HW and flea prevention. They now live outside in a backyard. It breaks my heart to think that these precious, little, ones live in a backyard now. They are very sweet and loving. If you are not able to let them become part of your family, please share, share share this post so they can once again live inside. They are located in Warner Robins, GA. Please call me anytime if interested. Thanks so much. 478-550-7684.

Did you know that your new puppy starts learning the moment you bring him or her home? They may not be working on fancy obedience or walking on leash very well ...yet, but they are learning about you, the other creatures in their life, and their environment! How we introduce our puppy to our home plays a huge role in how their behaviors start to develop as they grow (and trust me, they grow fast)! Every week your new puppy is covering new periods of development and their behavior will be headed one of two ways: what you'd like them to practice in future, or not. Crate training, potty training, and a kennel/eat/play/sleep schedule is one of the most important things to start with. Just because your puppy is cute, and is even fussy in their crate, doesn't mean they need to be out all of the time. In fact, little puppies need lots of sleep and utilizing their kennel for nap time in addition to bedtime helps create a solid rest routine and a pup who is comfortable with their kennel. If we don't let them have a few daily doses of rest, we will find an over tired, overestimulated, and (very often) exceptionally bitey puppy! Your new puppy has a very important window of development in their life from 8-12 weeks of age. This is a critical social window to help our puppy build confidence and have positive experiences with EVERYTHING they may see in their adolescent and adult lives. Good experiences will last them forever and negative experiences (or lack of experiences at all) can affect how they handle things in their environment in the future. Don't wait until they are older to get them out of the house and viewing the world (even if they don't know how to walk on leash well or fancy obedience)! Your puppy will be very animal centric and gravitate to the other pets in your house naturally. If you have another dog and they are constantly with the puppy, you're actually missing out on becoming your puppies primary source of information and building a strong bond. Whether at home or in public, if your pup has constant access to other animals they will often loose focus on you and get primary reinforcement from those relationships! Doses of social time with the other pets, while having solo time with you (and other family members as well) playing and doing simple training exercises will help build strong teamwork! (Also, older dogs can get annoyed and frustrated if they are constantly having to school the new pup - and this can lead to a grudge down the road). Don't wait to start teaching your puppy when they are older - start now! Puppies without consistency, guidance, positive experiences and socialization, as well as relationship building engagement with their owner (and equal doses of practiced separation via crate training) can become older dogs who struggle with behavioral issues! Remember, you're actually raising a dog - not a puppy :) Teach them now and build the foundation you want! Our next Virtual Puppy Class starts on July 12 - let us know if you'd like to join! (Details in the comments!)
These stainless cups may be purchased at Kottage Kennels. Thank you Ashlee Sherron, Ginger Snap Crafts-Clarksville. They are so cute!
This doggy daycare has been vandalized from the protesters. She has a go-fund-me page to help rebuild from the damages. I'm asking for your donation to help them. Even $5, $10, $20 would help or any amount you feel comfortable donating. This hits close to home for us. I can't imagine the heartache they are going through. Kottage Kennels thanks you for them. gf.me/u/x52v2r
When there is one that won't eat you make the chef's special. Bear is saying thank you by enjoying his delicious breakfast. When they stay with us we love these dogs as if they were our own.
Congratulations to Leigh Anne Payton! She is such an asset to our team! She makes all our customers babies beautiful!
The crew is starting to get back together. So happy to be back open! So thankful to be full this weekend!
