Kouzina Christos will be closing after service Saturday December 5th. I have decided to curtail talks with landlord over options to remain operational. My hea...rt goes out to the independent operators, their staffs and their families, struggling to navigate the unknown and unpredictable course of Covid-9. The flaccid and shortsighted response from local, state and national sources for support to buttress businesses who's loss will negatively affect business viability, employees, their families, the community, the schools is laughable. The losses to the foundation, the fabric that buttress our communities will be felt for many years. My fantastic staff and I will take a long overdue break while looking at options to re-imagine the next chapter of Kouzina Christos

Mother's Restaurant

Kouzina Christos is in negotiations with our present landlord concerning abated rents owed, due to the closure of the business and ensuing dramatic drop in busi...ness post closure. I'm not certain how those negotiations will play out, we are very far apart on the amount demanded by the landlord. It's quite probable this will be the final year of business in our present location. The continuing pandemic has made it almost impossible to maintain profitability. The unfolding pandemic has placed tremendous stress, uncertainty and physical demands on the staff and our resources. Additionally the return of the vast office market and it's huge positive financial impact on our business is uncertain. I would encourage all our fantastic friends, customers, community to come and enjoy your favorite item(s), not knowing the when the lights will go out. I post this not seeking sympathy, solace, just don't want to close without letting our loyal clientele know the circumstances. We will all take a long rest and start looking at other possible locations to build on our 40 years of history.
