Hi Inn fans. I know that this is not related to the Inn but I felt it was important to share this post. This pony was stolen off of a friend's farm in Powder Springs, GA just 2 days ago. Please feel free to share if you know anyone anywhere in a rural area or might know someone that knows horse loving people like me. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Inn fans. Hope everyone is healthy and happy on this beautiful Georgia Spring day. I got to enjoy it by watching a wedding today at the Inn. Its always lovely to watch two people comitting their lives to one another. In a time with so much uncertainty the love for family and good friends is what really matters. I am reminded of this every time we have a wedding. Have a great Sunday.

WELL HELLO INN FANS AS WE OPEN UP FOR THE YEAR. I have finally managed to get access back to this page. Thank god I have two sons that are programmers and know more about Facebook than I do. They also give better customer service than Facebook. It is still a crazy post Covid 19 world and war but we are doing what we can to keep our guests safe. I just ordered medical quality air cleaners for all of the guest rooms and common areas. We are disinfecting where we need to, u...sing social distancing in the dining room, not allowing self serving of breakfast, recommending masks in common areas and doing whatever else we can do. Dave and I have been vaccinated for Covid 19 too. I have already had the dreaded disease which I got after my first vaccine. I think it was going to be bad for me too but my newly formed antibodies kicked in and saved me. I have been negative for about a month. PLEASE EVERYONE WHO CAN GET VACCINATED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I THINK THE VACCINE SAVED MY LIFE HAS IT HAD AFFECTED MY HEART. BEING AN EX CARDIAC NURSE I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING ON AS I COULD FEEL IT. REALLY SCARY. That is it for my public service announcement. LOL Any way it looks like its going to be another wonderful and beautiful year here in sunny Georgia. This reformed Yankee's favorite state. The lake is looking might inviting to me. Below is a picture of the falls on Allatoona near Canton. Great place to kayak to. Have a great weekend and see you soon. .

Hello Inn fans. It sure has been a crazy year for all of us. I hope you and yours are well. We here at the Inn have decided that it would be in the best interest of our guests and ourselves to close down thru February. Don't despair we absolutely will be back in the Spring. We will continue to take reservations online or by phone for March and beyond. We will also continue event and wedding appointments thru the winter for next year events. In the meantime here are a few pictures from a couple of our fall weddings. Everyone have a great and safe Thanksgiving. We will miss all of our wonderful guests this winter.

Hi Inn fans. Hope everyone is well. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are open Thursday thru Sunday nights. On Covid 19 We are following the recommendations of the State of Georgia and the CDC. Being that there are asymptomatic carriers it is hard to really protect the population with such a contagious disease. Besides sanitation our keeping the Inn closed during the week helps keeps viral levels down too. We are not requiring masks at our Inn but we are trying to implement social distancing for our guests. Masks are welcome even though the little cloth ones most people are wearing really don't do much but keep you from touching your face. So everyone try to keep well and as Spock would say "Live long and prosper". Have a great day.

Hello Inn fans. It's been so beautiful the last few days and we were slow so.... I trimmed the gazebo and planted some Rose's. Any brides out there? If so you may be interested in getting married under it. We have some very reasonably priced wedding services for small groups on our website.

Hello Inn fans. Wow. This Covid 19 virus has got me confused. Here are some words from an old Grateful Dead song that I think explains my thoughts completely. "What a long strange trip its been". So now what? So many questions. What should we be doing. Do we open up or do we wait? How do we best protect our future guests and ourselves from this awful virus? FYI This is our plan. Over the next few weeks we will continue to be closed. We are planning on reopening on the 20th of May. We are also planning on using the guidelines recommended by the CDC to help sanitize the Inn to try to keep everyone safe. In the meantime we are enjoying the beautiful Spring. Got some new baby peeps for the farm and the flowers are blooming everywhere. So here are a few pics for now. Hope you are having a great Sunday. Take care and thrive.

Hello Inn fans. May I wish you all wellness at this time of uncertainty. Dave and I, here at the Inn, have decided to close down until the end of April as a precaution to protect guests as well as ourselves. These are trying times for all of us. May you and your friends and family get through this as jobs disappear and people struggle to survive. Personally our business has been struggling for the last two years anyway due to reservation losses by sites such as airbnb. It has been very frustrating as we, as a legal BNB, pay the required taxes and are government regulated to ensure your health and safety. We will probably reopen in the next few months. In the meantime everyone stay home and stay safe.

Hello Inn fans. It has finally quit raining here in Georgia. I am glad that I don't have to build an ark for my animals. I was beginning to wonder if we would float away. There is no flooding here at the Inn thank God. Therefore, I have some great things for you to do this weekend. Lets start with " Cartersville Dancing with the Stars" at the Clarence Brown Conference Center. Here is your chance to see local couples dance for charity for our local homeless shelter. The qu...estion is are the couples good dancers or bad? You will have to go to find out. Also, this weekend Bank of America will give you a free ticket to the Tellus Science Museum if you are a Bank of America card holder. Don't forget to take you photo ID and your card to get your free pass either Saturday or Sunday. My last weekend choice is for the Bluegrass or Country Music lovers. The " Appalachian Road Show" will be at the Cartersville Grand Theatre on Saturday night. The artist's mission is to keep alive the music of the Appalachian people. So go forth this weekend and enjoy your life. So many cool things to do and so little time. Have a great one. For more information on these events and others please go to visitcartersvillega.org.
