Introducing one of our associate optometrists! Dr. Aaron Rahn is a fun and charismatic individual with a compassionate heart towards others. During his time at Kennesaw State University, Aaron served as one of the members of the East Cobb Lions Club and worked as a published research assistant. He then attended the Inter-American School of Optometry in 2010, where he served as president of the orientation committee and worked as a student tutor. Dr. Rahn would spend much of h...is time alongside clinicians in the pediatrics and vision therapy department. His time there sparked an interest in helping those suffering from common binocular disorders; ultimately leading to Dr. Rahn to be awarded top of his class in vision therapy. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Rahn devoted his time to traveling, composing, and videography. When he is not working, Aaron enjoys spending time with family, working out, and trading cryptocurrency.

Introducing your lead optometrist at Lakhani Vision Care! Dr. Rakesh Lakhani was born in London, England and grew up in Austin, TX. He earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He then graduated as class valedictorian from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in 2014. He was the recipient of clinical awards for contact lens excellence, patient clinical care, and highest ABS board scores within his class. Soon after, he co...mpleted his ocular disease residency at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. Dr. Lakhani is currently serving as the President of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association, and is board certified by the American Board of Optometry. He has vast experience in different settings ranging from surgery centers to private practice. Given his passion for charitable care, he participated in the OneSight program by volunteering his optometric services with the Mexico team in May 2019. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new cuisines with his wife. Dr. Lakhani looks forward to serving the East Cobb area and strives to deliver quality eye care for his patients.
