This is a fun one. Years ago we purchased this massive European bread trough carved from a single piece of wood. Last year it was dusted off and converted into a linear hanging fixture. The most challenging part of the process was getting the piece to hang perfectly level. Needless to say the end result was pretty phenomenal!
