I’m calling all prayer Warriors across the country and in other parts of the world today! Our friend Matt Rogers needs for all of us to crash the throne of Hea...ven with prayer as he is IN surgery right now having a full lung transplant. Many of you know Matt is already a walking miracle. He was very sick with Covid and by the grace of God literally has been making a comeback! They knew he would need a lung transplant and it came quicker than any of us anticipated. Matt’s the guy usually saving others, usually helping out, usually bring everyone’s friend -and bringing joy wherever he goes. Time for all of us to lift saving prayers. May it be your will Father that this surgery is successful and that you bless Matt with many more years here in this life bringing glory to You. See more

I DON’T KNOW WHO WON THE RUNOFF BUT RIGHT NOW I DON’T CARE I woke up this morning and didn’t rush to see who won the runoff in Georgia. I decided that what’s done is done and more info about it wouldn’t matter. It’s 10:36 and I still don’t know the election results. But I’m certainly refreshed, and actually don’t care what those results were. I started the morning reading the C H Spurgeon devotional on the Truth for Life website. The title was Say Goodbye to Anxiety and re...ferred to 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your anxiety on Him (God) for he cares for you. The closing line was Come, then, soul! Say good-bye to anxiety and leave all your concerns in the hand of a gracious God. The daily Bible reading began with Genesis 6. God was tired of man’s evil and decided to destroy him with a flood. But all was not lost, for Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Just as he has given and daily gives grace to us. Matthew 6 is part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Part of that chapter deals with us being anxious about all kinds of things. But Jesus tells us not to be anxious because our Heavenly Father knows all our needs and will supply them. Instead of being anxious, we are to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Ezra 6 told of the completion of the Temple reconstruction in Jerusalem after the Jews returned from captivity in Babylon. They rejoiced at the completion it had taken a long time but way back when the foundation was laid (several years before), God had told them that the temple would be completed. His purpose would be fulfilled so don’t be discouraged if things look bad. Cast all your cares on God, for He cares for you. See more
