Good morning everyone. We are in the season of Lent. If you do not have any plans for dinner on Fridays through Lent, may I recommend attending a local Lenten Fish Fry at one of your local Catholic Parishes. The fish fry’s not only provide an affordable break from cooking after a hectic week and an opportunity to spend time with friends and family, but the money raised supports many charitable services around the local community. If you are in the Marietta GA area, pleas...e consider attending the Knights of Columbus Council 4599 fish fry at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Marist Hall. We will be serving fried, baked and blackened fish. Sides include, french fries, green beans, cole slaw, and hush puppies. In addition, you can get a bowl of homemade clam chowder and fish tacos. Finally we have a variety of homemade desserts. There is beer and wine available for a nominal charge as well as sweet tea and lemonade. Tickets are available for purchase for a chance to win a 50 inch HD smart TV. You can purchase tickets at the door. If you can’t stay for dinner, to go boxes are available.
