Just getting a chance to say thank you to Ms Maggie and Ms Julie of the United Way of NEGA for choosing Mad Tip Monday at Cool World Ice Cream Shop to raise money for their many cool causes. This pandemic has been extremely hard on non-profits and their outreach programs. I’m glad I could help. If you need to raise money for your organization and you know some big tippers give me a call. Our 1st Mad Tips Monday fundraiser in the books! We were happy to welcome UGA’s @thechapelbelluga to our patio. They laughed, planned and socialized while wearing masks and social distancing. They collected all the tips we earned from 6 to 8 pm. I found that donating tips is just as good or even better than percentage nights. So here’s a tip. If you are looking for a safe outdoor space to hold your next fundraisers and you know some big tippers, come on over to Cool World. We’ll reserve the next Monday for you. I’ve been working a lot of mobile events. It’s so different. I can’t take closeup pictures with my customers and I can even let little kids in the Popsicle anymore. They love to ring the bell and I miss that. I have gone to weddings and I could shake the grooms hand. I have delivered smiles to senior homes but I couldn’t pass out any hugs. I could only see my friends from the windows. Really bittersweet. But yesterday I got to deliver some smiles and much deserved treats to the Doctors, nurses and staff who are fighting hard to me and everyone else through this pandemic. I want to thank Ms Jennifer and Mr Marcus for trusting me to deliver cool to the coolest people on working on the frontline of this pandemic. I thank God for them. #myicecreamlife #coronagoaway
