M E E T C H L O E A L E X A N D E R We are proud to introduce our artist for the Upper Westside ATL and MARTA mural project! Chloe Alexander (@thehaplessprintmaker) is an Atlanta-based illustrator/printmaker and is a graduate of Georgia State University with her BFA and MEd. Her most recent work focuses on creating visual narratives that inspire a sense of whimsy and nostalgia by layering various printmaking techniques to create one-of-a-kind, mixed media drawings. In... her approach for this project, she uses imagery and motifs that include children, play, and a sense of wonder to honor the memories of the Upper Westside community : Brock Scott See more

The world has lost one of the most important muralists of the last decade: @h_y_u_r_o , our dear Tamara. @h_y_u_r_o challenged the male dominated street art scene. She exposed conversations that spoke of the feminine; the hard, the soft, the strong, and and what it means to grow as a woman in this world that usually wants them to stay little. She told their stories in large scales. She told her story. She made women feel seen and she made you see them too. It is hard to believe she is no longer with us. But her work will live in forever. Rest in power friend. : @marthacoopergram & @rjrushmore

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our longtime artist and friend; Ash Walsh. We were so lucky to have worked with them for our first Start Talking, Stop HIV project last year for a mural along the Westside Beltline. Ash was a beautiful light in the local queer artist community and collaborated often with organizations such as, @sfqp. After a long battle with leukemia, Ash is no longer with us but they will be remembered forever You will be missed friend. Yo...u can donate to Kimberly, Ash’s wife, here: CashApp: $ashwalsh92 PayPal: [email protected] Venmo: @km_walsh Please consider donating if you can!
