April 7 Psalm 103:2-4,10-12 Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefitswho forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassionhe does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. ... Easter blessing continue as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and learn of his appearances to his disciples before His ascension to heaven. This psalm reminds us of all the reasons we have to give God thanks and praise. Forget not all His benefits. The first and greatest benefit is the forgiveness of sins. This is what restores our relationship with God. We do not have to worry that any sin within us known or unknown is too great for God to forgive. He tells us that he has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west. We no longer have to feel unworthy to receive God’s love and mercy in every life situation. We sometimes use the expression, I love you to the moon and back. Psalm 103 tell us God’s love is as high above as the heavens are above the earth. So far, man has been able to send exploratory crafts into the heavens much farther than the moon. The Voyager I & 2 spacecraft traveled 14.1 billion miles away from Earth after being launched in 1977. Imagine a love that can fill 14 billion miles of space in every direction. God’s love is even greater than that because that only takes us to the edge of our solar system. This is really a way of saying God’s love for us is beyond our measuring.

We met some wonderful new friends today at Legacy at Savannah Quarters. It has been a year since we’ve been able to visit. So good to see smiles and hear happy stories about their pets from days gone by..... friends are blessings

WHAT?!? I missed National Caregiver Day? This is my caregiver Lois She takes very good care of me! Thank you and Thank you to folks who are caregivers for so many people in need. Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Psalm 36: 6-10 Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!... For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart. This psalm brought to mind the song Rock-a-My Soul. God’s righteousness and love is so high you can’t get over it, so low you can’t get under it, so wide you can’t get around it! God’s love encompasses all both people and animals and He protects and cares for us out of His great love. This psalm of praise reminds us that God’s righteousness and love are paired together like Law and Gospel. He commands righteousness and His justice could swallow us up like the ocean when we fail to keep those commands. But God sent Jesus out of love to be our righteousness. With Jesus, is the fountain of life. God’s light shines and we can see His love. The praise is followed by prayer. Continue your loveyour righteousness to those who know you and to those who hold you in their heart. We hear God’s answer: Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. (Psalm
