Christy Garland is our spotlight teacher today! She has been in education for 17 years, and she has been a Lake Joy Lion teacher for all of those 17 years. Her favorite children’s book is, OH, The Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends when she is not teaching at LJP! Tara Hill is our spotlight teacher today! She has been in education for 19 years, and she has been a Lake Joy Lion teacher for 17 years. Her favorite children’s book is anything written by Dr. Seuss. Happy 50th Day from LJPS!!!

Vicki Phelps is our spotlight teacher today! She has been in education for 25 years, and she has been a Lake Joy Lion teacher for 1 year. Her favorite children’s book is, Airmail to the Moon by Tom Birdseye. She enjoys watching fireworks and she and her husband once owned a seafood market! Help us celebrate Mrs. Phelps, one of our kindergarten teachers here at Lake Joy Primary!

Shela McCracken is our spotlight teacher today! She has been a part of education for 7 years, and she has been a Lake Joy Lion teacher for 4 years. Her favorite children’s book is, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day. She loves to dance and enjoys time with her family and friends! Help us celebrate Mrs. McCracken, our virtual kindergarten teacher here at Lake Joy Primary!

Our photographer was able to make some special holiday magnets from our fall pictures! Your student is bringing them home today. Please return the money or the magnets by next Wednesday, December 9th.

LJPS Teacher Spotlight: Jackie Wilson is our spotlight teacher today! She has been in education for 6 years, and she had been a Lake Joy Lion teacher for 3 years. Her favorite children’s book is Corduroy. She enjoys fishing in her free time and being with her family. Help us celebrate Mrs. Wilson, one of our 1st grade teachers here at LJPS!
