Ironworkers Local No. 387 01.02.2021

This day was established at the end of WWI as Armistice Day. In 1954 it was changed to Veterans Day. Throughout the history of this country, men and women have served to defend this country. Dome were volunteers and others were drafted into service. Either way service to the country should be respected. Iron Workers Local No. 387 would like to take this moment to recognize our veterans and all those who served. Many are no longer with us and many still stand a line somewhere in the world. If you are a veteran, this is your day among many. Regardless of politics, recognition is something you have earned. Thank you for your service. https://www.history.com/to/holidays/history-of-veterans-day
