Loganville High School Band

What a great day of promoting fine arts at LHS! Current 8th grade students from LMS visited LHS today and our performing arts groups (drama, band, and chorus) performed. Along with students who played with the band, we had students ALL over the school represent clubs throughout and one of our bari sax players sang with the men’s chorus quartet. #proudtobeareddevil

Hi all, I hope you are enjoying the wonderful weather. This time of year is when I begin to plan for both summer/fall marching band and get an idea about concert band next school year. Even despite COVID-19, our band program has grown in both size and talent. This school year, we have had the most amount of participation in concert band. We are heading towards a direction that will create some great challenges for our program. I am excited about the possibility of having 2 ...concert band ensembles spread out over 3 band classes. After spring break, we will be ramping marching band sign-ups, colorguard auditions and clinics, and percussion clinics and auditions. We are potentially looking at marching 80-90 students next fall, which will be right at our numbers pre-COVID.
