The City of Pembroke celebrated the completion of their new City Hall on October 21, just short of a year-long construction process led by Lavender & Associates. 2021 NEW YEAR - NEW NAME Lott + Barber is now Lott + Naugle Architects We are excited to announce that we have a new name! Todd Naugle, a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, joined our team in 1992 as an intern architect, became a Registered Architect in 1997, a firm partner in 2004, and is now a senior named principal. The name change reflects the outstanding service and commitment to our clients that Todd has consistently delivered for almost thirty years.

Lott+Barber has enjoyed our partnership with the City of Pembroke on the design of a new City Hall and renovations for a New Police Headquarters and Fire Station. In the attached photos, the City of Pembroke celebrated the start of construction for the New City Hall with a groundbreaking held on November 19, 2020. Construction starts immediately with the new City Hall building and once complete and occupied, the renovation will begin on the existing City Hall for the Police Headquarters and Fire Station. Construction duration is expected to be one year. Lavender & Associates was selected as the General Contractor.

Lott + Barber is excited to be working with City of Pembroke on the design of a new City Hall. The one-story, 6,738 square foot facility will be located on a 2.17 acre site along Highway 67 (Main Street). The new facility will include the following features: - Lobby (featuring a tribute to past mayors of the City) - Council Meeting Room (seating for 54 with modern A/V technology) - Council Chambers Meeting Room... - Utility Clerk Office/Payment Center - Drive-Thru Utility Payment Window - 8 Offices for Mayor, City Administrator, City Clerk and Others - Public and Staff Support Spaces - Records Vault, Workroom, Breakroom - Emergency Generator Connection In addition to the new City Hall, Lott+Barber provided design services to renovate the existing City Hall for a new police headquarters as well as renovations to the existing fire station.

We are happy to announce that Zac Suttles is Lott+Barber’s newest Georgia Registered Architect. Zac has been with Lott+Barber since February 2015. Graduating from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2013, he is a third generation architect and grew up in a design oriented environment. Zac and his wife, Rachel, are proud parents to their 2 year old son James and are expecting their second child in September. Congratulations to Zac and his family for the hard work and dedication required in achieving this career goal. Lott+Barber is proud to have him as one of our own.

Lott+Barber is excited to announce we are designing a 307 new workforce housing units in west Savannah titled Carolan Street Multi-Family housing. The project is led by developers Cardinal Capital Management, Inc., based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Vanguard Developers located in Savannah, GA. The existing site contains WWII era housing which has far exceeded its useful life. This project will bring much needed affordable housing to individuals and families living in Sava...nnah. Features of planned development include: - One, two and three bedroom units spread among large, secure apartment buildings as well smaller townhome style buildings - Community laundry facilities throughout buildings - Community room with kitchenette - Multiple outdoor playgrounds - Outdoor pavilions with BBQ amenities - acre grassed playfield - Clearview Avenue streetscape improvements to include on-street parking and dedicated public transportation bus stop We look forward to helping our client along with community involvement transform this community in providing safe, affordable and aesthetically pleasing housing.

Congratulations to Riverview Health & Rehabilitation Center on the completion of the renovation to their facility on LaRoche Avenue. Lott + Barber is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this transformation that will provide updated rehabilitation and long term care for the residents and patients served by Riverview. Additional design team partners for this project include Chatham Engineering (MEP), Saussy Engineering (structural), and Health Systems Development, LLC (interior design / owner representative).
