When someone does you wrong, how do you respond? Do you respond with grace or mercy, or do you, like many people, respond with anger? Maybe a better question is after the initial reaction to having someone do you wrong, how do you respond? Come join us tomorrow at 11:00am under the arbor as we learn about what Jesus tells us about forgiveness. ~Pastor Tim

When I was a kid, I was never allowed to drink Cokes. My parents always told me when I was old enough to my own drinks is when I could drink cokes. In high school, I tried my first Coke at party, and it was amazing. I was hooked, and quickly began to drink a 12 pack a day. Over time the amount of caffeine took a toll on my body, and I began to have panic attacks. The caffeine slowly over years caused my brain to start worrying about mundane stuff. Luckily, with some lifestyle adjustments, I am able to control my panic attacks. But, With current rise in people having panic attacks, I wonder how this is affecting our faith. Please join us tomorrow at 11:00am down at the arbor for worship as we learn about what Jesus has to say about worry and fear. ~Pastor Tim

For those who don’t know, today is the start of squirrel season. Squirrel season is one of the longest hunting seasons in Georgia. It lasts just over 6 months. However, depending on the time of year, it will depend on how you hunt. For example, early in the season there is plenty of food and cover for you to hide, so to have the ability to walk around to hunt with little effort to hunt. Yet, late into the season, with no cover in the trees, and little food. This means hunter... have to be much more crafty, and cover more land when hunting. I say all this because I wonder how well we adapt throughout our different seasons of our faith walks. Do we stay on the status quo? Do we go off the deep end? Or do we learn to adapt to meet our current situation? I want to invite you to church tomorrow morning at 11:00am to come and worship with us. We are meeting down in the arbor across the street from the church. ~Pastor Tim See more

WhenKimmie and I got married, part of our honeymoon was on a cruise ship. Both Kimmie and I got sea sick, but for two different reasons. If Kimmie saw the water, she would get sick. If I didn’t see the water, I would get sick. Then when the water got choppy, we both got sick. I say all this because in tomorrow’s scripture, Jesus walks out to the disciples who are on a boat in the midst of a storm, and asks Peter to walk on water with him. Please join us tomorrow morning at 11:00am as we learn how to walk on water with Jesus. ~Pastor Tim

I learned something very early when I was a kid. I learned that I was not built for going to haunted houses. In my lifetime, I have only been to 2 haunted houses. In both cases, a work received a broken bone from me. I say all this because I often wonder where fear comes from. Is fear naturally in us, or is it a learned behavior? No matter the case, in Isaiah 41:10, we are reminded that we have no cause for fear. Please join us tomorrow morning at 11am under the arbor as we discuss how let go of our fear, and instead rely on God. ~Pastor Tim
