We celebrated New Year’s Eve at 12:00...Noon!

We had quite the yummy treat: coquitos! Similar to eggnog, coquitos are Little Coconut in Spanish. Coconut-based, this delicious treat originated in Puerto Rico. We loved them!!

We were able to get out and enjoy the sunshine by our fire pit today. Then the rain moved in!

We created our own game...quarantine cornhole!

It’s National Candy Corn Day! People either love or hate this sweet treat. Trivia time... Originally called Chicken Feed, the candy was first produced in the late 1880s. Now, 85% of the candy corn is made by Brach’s, who makes approximately 7 billion pieces of candy corn per year. That’s a lot of candy corn!!

The area around our community is so beautiful! It’s perfect for leisurely walks, bird watching and checking out the cool rocks.

We LOVED celebrating National I Love Lucy Day!! We recreated the chocolate factory and vitameatavegamin episodes and we even got T-shirts! I Love Lucy, starring Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, and William Frawley made its debut on October 15, 1951. We love watching Lucy’s antics.
