Updated tournament schedule

Due to forecast lows in the teens Saturday and highs barely above frrezing, the season opening tournament scheduled for January 29 has been rescheduled for Saturday February 5. Signup deadline is now Friday Feb 4 at 3:00PM. If you have any questions or concerns, please call 770-832-3330.

Don't wait for the weather to warm up to have your outboard serviced. Now is the time for yearly or bi-yearly maintenance. We offer same day service if your boat is dropped off before 9AM and next day service if after 9. We look forward to serving you!

Here is the 2022 Marine South Tournament schedule. There are a few rule changes for next year. Teams must fish the first two tournaments of the year and a minimum of 8 tournaments total to qualify for the classic. Team registration fee is now $50. Full updated rules will be posted next week. Here's the Summer/Fall tournament schedule. $80 per team. Registration will begin July 1, 2021. Entry for the first tournament must be paid at Marine South and each team member must sign a waiver. There is a $40 per team registration fee for the season. Registration will close at 3:00 PM the Friday before each tournament. Must fish a minimum of 5 tournaments to qualify for the classic.

They have earned an additional $1,000 and free entry into the Classic. Teams in green are qualified for the Classic on May 15 and the Tournament of Champions in November. After a conversation with the Pell City Recreation director today, we are moving to Riverside (formerly D&S) for this weekend’s tournament. The rec director would only allow us to park beside the water park, which is at least a quarter mile from the boat ramps. I immediately called Riverside and they said they love to have us. Please help spread the word.

Due to the forecast of 3+ inches of rain and severe storms all day Saturday, we’re moving this weekend’s Wedowee tournament to Sunday. Registration will be open until 6:00 PM Friday evening. If you have any questions, call me tomorrow at 770-832-3330. Please share to help get the word out.

Marine South is under new ownership. We will be closed from December 23rd through January 4th to make necessary changes. The staff is still the same and they cannot wait to get back to work. We will reopen January 5th. Thank you for your patience and continued business. We hope to make our service department better than ever!

Here is the 2021 Marine South tournament trail. There are a few changes this year. We will have a spring season and a fall season. The fall schedule will come out in the summer. There will be a points race in each season. Prizes for the spring season will be announced in the coming weeks. Registration will close at 3:00 pm the day before the tournament. After your team's initial registration at the store, you can register for each tournament over the phone with a credit or debit card, or by cash at the store. Each team will pay a one time $40 registration fee. Each tournament is still $80 and we guarantee $1,000 for first place at each tournament. It has been brought to my attention that the tournament committee voted to make the final points standings the blast off order for day one of the classic back in January. This will be the order for day 1. Entry fee still must be paid by noon on October 9. Apologies for any confusion.

There is a big tournament at West Point the same day as our classic. Therefore, we're flipping days. Day 1 will be Saturday, October 10 from 48 Bridge at Wedowee, Day 2 will be Sunday October 11 from Yellowjacket at West Point. Teams must be registered at Marine South by Friday October 9 at noon.
