We had an amazing experience today at BEATS! We were contacted earlier in the week to do a birthday wish ride for a WW2 veteran who is turning 95 years young t...omorrow. Oley Doty owned horses for years but hadn't been on one in "a lifetime." His wish was to ride one more time and we were all too happy to oblige. Moon Shadow was a perfect mount. Thank you to all of BEATS staff, volunteers and riders who helped prep Moon and assist during Oley's ride. It was all perfect! I was so happy and honored to meet Oley and make his wish come true. He is now a forever friend of BEATS and promised to come back to exercise our horses. HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLEY and THANK YOU for you service and for your smile that was contagious to all of us. See more
