A local legend stops by the shop today for a few quarts of oil. The one and only Lieutenant Stevens, the man behind the legendary scrambled dogs at Dinglewood Pharmacy. A valued customer and one of the best people you will ever meet. Maybe we can talk him into making us a pot of his famous chili!

What ever happened to.....Phillip Carney? Lots of customers have been asking about long time Masciovecchio's employee Phillip Carney. Well, Phillip decided to put the wrenches down a few years ago. After a stint with Leisure Lifestyles, he is now at the garden center at The Home Depot. Good luck Phillip. We miss you.

Okey Rivera (Okey's Auto) stopping by today for Gary to check the AC on his old Ford pickup. These two troublemakers go way back! Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone! See you on Tuesday.

Happy Veterans's Day! Remembering one of our own today, Emilio Masciovecchio aka Mac The Mechanic 1928-2005. Thank you for your amazing service in the U.S. Army!

One of our very best customers, Lealavaa (Tui) Tuiolosega with his 1984 Ford Tempo that he purchased new. A thirty year old Tempo? It just goes to show what proper maintenance can do for a car. Tui also has a 1982 Pontiac Bonneville and a 1987 Chevy Van, also purchased new and still going strong.

An all original 1987 Buick Grand National Regal in excellent shape. WOW!

It was a real treat to see this immaculate 1958 VW Beetle Wolfsburg in the shop this week. No need to worry about coolant leaks on these.

Do not let this happen to you! Check your cooling system periodically and keep an eye on the temperature gauge. This one may be beyond a blown head gasket.

In the shop this week, a 1972 Buick Riviera. After some coaxing the old 455 came to life and sounded pretty good after sitting up for many years. You don't see body lines like this on cars anymore. Have a great weekend and stay cool everyone!
