A Gift for You!! December 19 & 20 Stream for Free All Day... Rome Little Theatre, with the support of Rome Area Council for Arts, is pleased to offer RLT's 2020 production of A Christmas Carol to stream for free on demand all day December 19 & 20! The themes of A Christmas Carol are more resonant than ever, and we wish to deliver a dose of theatre magic and Christmas joy to everyone in our community who needs it. This one-act solo adaptation of the classic Christmas story is performed by Dickens himself, based on his historic reading tour of the US in 1867. Through changes of voice and gesture, Dickens recreates the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the bitter old miser who, after a night of otherworldly visits, learns to keep Christmas in his heart. Chris Parker, an English and drama teacher at Coosa High School, masterfully portrays Dickens and more than two dozen other characters. The production is directed by RLT Executive Director Chris Davidson, and filmed and edited by local filmmaker Rick Williams. Access to the film will be available via Broadway on Demand from 12:00AM December 19 through 11:59PM December 20. There is no charge to view the film, but you will need to create a free log in at Broadway on Demand in order to stream it. romelittletheatre.com

See Judge Chris Jackson on his first day on the bench as Chief Municipal Court Judge of Rome. This part-time position allows Judge Jackson to maintain a full-time practice with MSP. And congratulations to outgoing Judge Bryan Johnson who will be taking his seat on the Superior Court of Floyd County in the new year.
