COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. As of May 10, 2021, more than 152 million people across the United States had received at least one dose of COVID-19 v...accine. Of those, more than 115 million are fully vaccinated. If you haven’t been vaccinated, get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as you can. If you’re not fully vaccinated, keep practicing healthy habits to slow the spread. Remember to: Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose. Stay at least 6 feet away from others. In a recent survey, MAA Platinum Sponsor The Doctors Company asked physicians across more than 20 specialties how they think their practice will change as a result of the pandemic. Of the 652 respondents, a significant majority72%said they will increase their use of personal protective equipment, while 59% said they will use #telehealth more frequently. The Medical Association of Georgia is recruiting 2021 'Doctor of the Day' volunteers! Volunteers work in the Medical Aid Station at the State Capitol, providing free minor medical care for legislators and their staff for one or more days during the 2021 state legislative session scheduled to run from the middle of January until the end of March.
