Congratulations to this year's #MetalMyWay Car project winner Travis Taylor for his 65 C10 Twin Turbo Truck. Travis built this with his son without the use of any kits. They took the original truck down to the frame and put in hundreds of hours of cutting, and fabricated all of the air ride suspension parts using metal that was purchased from Metal Supermarkets Las Vegas (South). Congratulations to this year's best Art and Design projectJason Koczak for the Breck Ironworks Steel Log Set. These very realistic looking logs were created in about 40 hours by hand/stick welding and plasma welding various pipe, angle and plate which was purchased from Metal Supermarkets Wheat Ridge. Congratulations to this year's #MetalMyWay Home project winner Bob Higgins for his Home Elevator. Bob built this elevator on his own from scratch for his new home. It is tested to lift 800lbs using 1.250" diameter x 4 threads per inch ACME thread rod. Bob purchased metal for this creation from Metal Supermarkets in Victoria. #MetalSupermarkets #MetalMyWay

This year's best Industrial or Shop project winner is... Barry Witte for the USS Slater Mast Repair. Congratulations Barry! Using mild steel, stainless and brass, every part was fabricated using plasma and water jet, a lathe, mill, welding and brazing. It took around 2 years, but the mast has now been restore to its original configuration. Barry had help from Metal Supermarkets Albany on this project! It's time to start announcing our latest #MetalMyWay winners! Congratulations to this year's best Vehicle... Alain Bergeron's Transformer Boat! This folding boat was created using aluminum and is able to fold up for easy storage and transportation. Very cool idea! It took Alain about 6 months to complete this project, and he got some of the metal from Metal Supermarkets Kitchener!... #MetalSupermarkets #MetalMyWay
