Again this is personal another former family of mine a mom with two middle school twins is in the ICU because of this damn virus . Those of you not taking this seriously your freedom is costing people their lives !! please add this family to your prayer list

Sharing not to promote this business but to advocate concern that neither this business nor AAA pools are mandating masks for customers or employees . I’m fed up with not seeing better business practices and more common sense!!

These beautiful children have been my swim students but could not start lessons this year because COVID 19 is spreading through their family. It is mind boggling looking at this large spacious home that swim instruction was not something that was invested in particularly for the child that absolutely would have prevented this tragedy. Parents learning to swim is a priority before you upgrade your home lifestyle etc invest in this. Your child's life may depend upon it and it is something that he or she will have for a lifetime.

This is one of the wonderful swimmer families that I have been blessed to know. I can add that he doesn’t slow down when he’s swimming either. Go Charlie

Due to Covid 19 our 2020 Swim Season has been impacted and we are no longer able to accept any new students that are not already scheduled with us at this time. Miss Victoria's swim schedule is starting almost 7 weeks behind and although Miss Heather was able to begin in June as planned , she is currently booked for the season. For future planning please read below for details on what we teach, cost, location and availability. We normally begin scheduling in Feb-Mar so for future scheduling please consider inquiring about scheduling early since we are usually booked long before Summer arrives.

Here’s something Pediatricians should be talking about..Swimming Instruction prevents drowning . Start them young!

Another great link about why life jackets and puddle jumpers don’t help children learn to swim: Floating around the pool in a Puddle Jumper only reinforces the drowning posture. There is a place for them, on a boat. They are brightly colored, they are comfortable, so your child may be more agreeable with you wearing one. But let's end the confusion. The Unites States Coast Guard has not endorsed these and does not approve them as learn to swim devices

Here's a parent who learned a heartbreaking lessons by using a puddle jumper to keep her son "safe" in the pool. An educational read if you think puddle jumpers or lifejackets are good for children learning to swim!

No floaties. Puddle jumpers or life jackets are not the answer either. Kids must learn true swimming skills=lessons. No child is ever drownproof water is dangerous. Supervise stay close to your child in the water.

Drowning at any age is a tragedy. Most teens and adults drown in open water. Paddling across a swimming pool head up doesn’t help when you are tired in a lake. I’ve heard the statistic that 50% of people can’t swim well enough to save their own lives. No wonder the AAP is now recommending that your child’s 1st extracurricular activity should be swimming!

Today as I begin another long summer day of teaching I remember one dedicated family’s personal tragedy. Today is the anniversary of the death of Joshua Collingsworth . If you were headed to the pool today with your children remember that just in the blink of an eye your lives can be changed forever . Water is fun and a relief from the hot summer but it is also inherently dangerous .
