Day 4: What on Earth would YOU ever do with an Inn and 6 cabins? There are infinite possibilities! Here’s another one for today! Day 1 was a family compound ... Day 2 was Live in the Inn and rent the cabins Day 3 was run a B&B! Today’s idea is: Find some compatible friends and create a tiny house condo community!! If a compound is not your cup of tea, create a tiny house community! Find some golden girls or compatible couples, sensational singles, whomever!! Everyone could select their favorite cabin for vacationing! Cabins could be rented out when the owners aren’t there or simply let the Mitsubishi units keep them climate controlled until the owner's return. In the it's a small world category: I bought these two sweet little beds in Milton (I don't mind traveling when i get to see Tyler and his family) for the upstairs bedrooms at Misty. They look great! The man I purchased them from was once a boss of our friend who sold us Misty: Donnie Thompson! They are both great guys! Truly a small world.

Day 3: What on Earth would YOU ever do with an Inn and 6 cabins? There are infinite possibilities! Here’s another one for today! Day 1 was a family compound; Day 2 was Live in the Inn! ... Today’s idea is the most obvious! Open the B&B!! As mentioned yesterday, we renovated the cabins and Inn. We kept our licenses current, but never operated the B&B because I was working full time. It will make an absolutely, lovely B&B again! Each of the three upstairs’ suites has a gas fireplace, a queen bed, a twin bed, a private bath and two have balconies. The owner’s quarters downstairs has another suite with a private bath, private ground floor entrance and balcony as well as a den with another exterior door and, of course, the essential laundry room (also with exterior door). Serve breakfast in your parlor/dining room or on the beautiful covered front porch. Currently, we are renting the whole Inn as a vacation rental. LIVE IN THE INN! Misty was a marvelous family adventure for us. We have a multitude of Misty Memories that we will cherish forever. So many friends and family members came up and stayed in cabins or the inn to help us renovate the six cabins, build the storage villa (that could be completed as a 7th rental) and spruce up the property and suites in the Inn. Then, we all found our forever homes and are moving on to new adventures while carrying fond memories of Misty forever in our hearts. Enough about us. What could YOU Do? Idea of the day: Live in the Inn! Live in the Inn and save any extra suites for friends and family to visit. Rent the cabins to AT thru hikers in the early spring and vacation families escaping the heat of the cities in the summer and fall. We have regulars who return year after year to make more of those Misty Mountain memories. We are fully booked this time of year.
