Due to the potential threat of severe weather overnight tonight into tomorrow morning, Carroll County School System will have a Distance Learning Day on Thursda...y, October 29 for all students. Faculty and staff will report at 10am, or when it is safe to do so. Teachers will post assignments to Google Classroom by 9am on Thursday. Students who do not have Internet access or at-home packets will receive make-up assignments when they return to school. All afternoon and evening events and activities for Thursday, October 29 will continue as scheduled, unless there is significant damage or power outages. We will communicate any changes by 1pm tomorrow. Thank You and Stay Safe! MZH vs. Bowdon Ticket Information: Due to COVID-19 restrictions of only selling to 50% capacity this season, we anticipate a *SELLOUT* crowd. EVERYONE IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO PURCHASE THEIR TICKETS EARLY! Ticket pre-sales for the MZH vs. Bowdon game (November 6) will begin on Monday, October 26 through Thursday, November 5, from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm in the front office. Tickets are $8, ages four and up. There will be NO pre-sale of tickets on game day. IF there are tickets still available, we will sell them at the gate on game day, but do not miss a chance to see your Eagles up against the Bowdon Red Devils!! Purchase your tickets early!!

The Mount Zion Recreation Department is now taking sign-ups for Boys and Girls Basketball. Any children age 5-12 may sign up. Sign-ups will continue through November 13th. Registration is $40 per child. You may sign up at Mt. Zion City Hall Monday-Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Please make sure you get your child signed up ASAP.

Ticket info for GORDON LEE this Friday, 10/23 To purchase tickets for Friday night’s game against Gordon Lee, please follow these instructions: Go to https://events.ticketspicket.com/home Search for Gordon Lee High School... Once on the page showing all upcoming events, find and select Gordon Lee vs. Mt. Zion (October 23 at 7:30pm). The access code is LR26XU Follow the prompts to purchase. It is highly advised to download the Ticket Spicket app on your phone. This will be easier and more convenient as you enter the event on Friday. Gordon Lee is only selling a total of 1,500 tickets and as soon as they hit that number the gates will be shut down to any further sales. Tickets will be $7 pre-sale through Ticket Spicket (see directions below). If there are any tickets left by Friday afternoon, they would sell those remaining tickets for $10 at the gate.
