This year, Christmas will look different for most of us. Many of us won't be traveling out of town to see loved ones. Many won't be able to have a Christmas dinner with family. Many long to be in church on Christmas Eve, but don't yet feel comfortable doing so. At Mountain View, we will offer two Christmas Eve services with COVID-19 safety precautions, all the while understanding and respecting the fact that many of you are not yet comfortable returning. Christmas Eve service...s are at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Both will feature Christmas hymns and a short Christmas message, culminating with the lighting of each individual's candle (done social-distancing style). The 5:00 sermon will feature a shorter sermon and a Children's Time. As with our Sunday morning in-person worship, masks will be required, social-distancing must be followed, and those who come will be spread-out in the Sanctuary. Your health, wellness, and safety are a priority. Not everyone will feel comfortable coming, and we respect and honor that. A video/online version of our Christmas Eve service will be posted early on Christmas morning.
