When was the last time you had your movement analyzed, meaning a professional coach watching you performing an exercise, such as a sqaut? What if that knee pain isn’t actually a knee problem? Would you continue to drive your car if the alignment was off or would you take it to the mechanic right away to prevent further damage? ME coaches are like mechanics for your body. We analyze your movement patterns and alignment, then recommend the necessary course of action t...o solve the problem and prevent it from reoccurring. Call or text 678-400-6133 to schedule your virtual movement assessment. Movement analysis and programming takes less than 30 minutes.

Good Afternoon! Since we are half way through the month and hopefully you have created the habit of doing your planks everyday, I want to share another great core exercise with you. It's called the Dead Bug. If you are not familiar here is how to perform. This exercise, along with the plank, will help EVERYONE with your core stability, and could also help those of you who experience low back pain. I'm here to help if you have any questions about this new exercise! Have a great day, stay safe, and keep moving!

I am challenging all ME friends to participate in this plank challenge during the month of April. This is a great way to stay connected and together with so much disconnect right now. No excuses because I know you all (or most) are working from home. All levels and ages are able to do this exercise. If you already plank regularly then add progressions or start with side planks. If you cant get down on the ground, lean against the wall, the countertop, or a chair. We can ALL do this, Good luck and happy planking! Challenge starts tomorrow, April 1st!

Good Afternoon ME Friends! I hope you are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented time. With all the recommendations to stay home, work from home, social distancing, and gym closures, I hope you’re still finding time to stay active or do your self-care program. At Movement Edge we pride ourselves on movement efficiency and helping our clients move better, feel better, and recover faster. How can we continue to provide that same care and attention now?... The answer is simple. While you are exercising or doing your self-care program at home schedule a video chat with a movement coach and we will provide the necessary feedback virtually. You're not alone lets move together!

Good Morning ME community! Social media and virtual coaching are going to be the new platforms for delivering you superior ME services and communication. I have already added virtual coaching to our Mind Body App and you can schedule a session here: https://www.movementedge.com/locations-appointments/ We are so fortunate to be able to work from home during this COVID-19 pandemic and keep everyone safe and healthy. Let me take a few minute to explain how I will be utilizing ...these platforms: 1. Facebook and Instagram: a. Updates regarding the facility and services b. Share short (20 Min) video/live workouts with and without equipment depending on what you have access to c. Tips and tricks to keep you and your family moving while at home, set new goals since gyms are closed, and ways to stay motivated and reduce stress d. Answer your questions regarding exercise, movement, form, all your health and wellness questions within my scope 2. Virtual Coaching: a. The only appointment that is currently available, 30 minutes or less for new and current clients b. How does virtual coaching work? As long as you have access to video chat regardless of the platform iPhone/Android or Mac/PC, I will be able to watch your movement and evaluate your form c. Then, I'll provide the necessary feedback, schedule a program (no equipment necessary), and provide a recommended course of action c. I HIGHLY encourage everyone utilize this service as part of your new routine, because improper form is the #1 reason injury risk increases, pain persists, or progress is not achieved If you have questions and want to speak with me the office number is still active and is forwarded to my personal cell. The number to call or text is 678-400-6133. Stay safe and healthy and I look forward to seeing you all online very soon!
