On this day in 1992 a sweet young lady from Southwest GA reported to her first day of work in the Medicare Rental Supply accounting department. 29 years later Kathi Hatcher now oversees the entirety of MRS Homecare’s billing and financial departments as our Comptroller/Head Cheerleader! Due to significant supply chain issues and the reliance on Chinese produced goods, MRS Homecare (and all other home medical equipment companies and big box stores) are currently unable to source crutches for the foreseeable future. All of us at MRS are extremely frustrated by this and other recent supply chain issues, and are doing everything in our power to make sure our customers and local health systems have the tools they need. We apologize for this and encourage anyone... with a set of crutches to hold on to them as you may be the solution for your friends and family in the coming weeks. A reminder to all of our follwers- Seniors who keep traditional Medicare have full choice of any doctor, hospital, nursing facility, home medical supplier, and home care agency. Not all Medicare advantage plans are created equal! Know the MA plan inside and out before you give up your Medicare rights, and remember if its confusing its probably best that you stick with traditional Medicare!... Medicare Advantage seems great, but often the devil is in the details and we see many plans that exclude services that traditional Medicare covers.
