A 61st Anniversary Drive Thru Celebration was held in honor of Mr. & Mrs. James H. Crawford today from 12:30 til 1:30 PM. The Couple’s three children from ATL hosted the event, with their parents available to all, seated on the Church’s arched entryway. Tidbits were shared as well wishers also shared cards and other gifts with the couple... Both have been members of the church all of their adult lives, serving in many capacities and as role models for others to follow... We Congratulate them on their Blessed Union, and Wish them continued Blessings as they continue to add to their time together.

Mt. Gilead AME Church is alive and well!!! We have not missed a Sunday since Covid-19 took over all of our lives... We have Cellular 11 AM Worship Service on each Sabbath... Mt. Gilead AME Church is following the national directive for all African Methodist Episcopal Churches and we are offering a telephone connection to our members for our regularly scheduled worship services at the regularly scheduled times, including our Tuesday Bible Study. It will be announced through media when traditional worship services will be resumed. Let us all be safe and let us all pray for one another, that the dark cloud over our heads will soon pass. On this Easter Sunday, let us remember and give praise to He who died for us, and let us all rememember to offer prayers for our fellow man such that His crucifixion and resurrection was not in vain.... First Sunday, Communion Sunday at The Rock... Children’s Church was led by Pastor Campbell as he ministered to our three attendees this AM, little Ayden from Atlanta along with Hadley and Jay who represented themselves very well... Our hats are off to our children, God’s up and coming Spiritual Warriors, making Jesus and their grandparents Proud Indeed!! Rev. Biggers consecrated our day later with a very powerful & spirit filled message before leading us into our Holy Communion service. The Lord was truly in this place!!
